Actually, we're kind of aiming for the opposite at this point! That's not to say that you aren't free to invite and play with people, but we're making sure that we're not on the front page on any of the voting websites and aren't publicly advertising too hard for the following reasons:
- We want to keep the server population to a minimum while working out bugs; smaller communities tend to be more helpful in fixing issues rather than abusing exploits and we want to get all the main ones cleared away before getting too popular
- A lot of times a game/server has to reach critical mass in order to provide enough population for a great user experience, and if there's not enough balanced content when a server attempts it's push for said population, most people don't want to give it a second chance. We're already pushing our luck by being publicly available during our alpha period, but hopefully once we move to beta and continue marketing we can get enough support to carry us over the threshold
That all being said, we really appreciate your patronage and help in the meantime and are expecting to pick up with regards to population size in the next 1-2 months.
